Between 2000--2011 The Events Page on the website was developed over that period of time so that it was informative and to some degree colourful. Today go to the present days website the format and colour has considerably changed.
On the original dates were listed including times, train fares and any other relevant event information as you will see below. I did offer to continue the website for the railway but this was not accepted. A new and much better website with a new domain name was promised trouble is the original website is listed in many tourist information centres, tourist publications etc.
Where possible I have submitted this alteration. Another problem has occurred the railway has been renamed from Thorne Memorial Park Miniature Railway to Thorne Railway. This caused problems back in 2000 with the Thornes Park railway in Wakefield this is why added "memorial" to the website and publicity information. Now its back to the 2000 problem again. Sadly this is all now beyond my control.
