Brass Band Concerts 3pm to 5pm are back again for July. On the 18th TMCR the local community radio station entertains on the park's bandstand.

The Thorne Memorial Park Miniature Railway is operated by the volunteer members of the Doncaster & District Model Engineering Society Ltd. This miniature railway is the only one to be found in a public park within the Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council area.
