Classic and Vintage Car Display

Classic and Vintage Cars on display in the brilliant warm sunshine on the Saturday

All the fun of the fair

Something for all ages. Eat plenty of chips a burger or two then face the challenge of the "Wild Thing" Stig being in the park both days must have inspired many of the younger drivers to tackle the Racing Car machine. Go on this roundabout enough times you may just travel the equivalent distance to Bridlington.

The wild west display

For a third year the very popular Wild West encampment set up their homes. I am sure the gentleman with the lamp has not aged much over those three years. A chance for others to have their photographs taken.

The Charity Stalls

What would any event be without its charity stalls. My wife picked up many pots of jam, a low wattage kettle, a plate of cakes and other items. For the these groups who patiently set up their stalls this is a marvellous day to help raise some funds as well as publicise their organisation.

Some of the other attractions both on and off the stages.

This event attracts many singers, dancers and other performers which prove to be very popular with the visitors. The Irish dancers are always a very popular attraction each year and without doubt they were as popular and the costumes were very colourful.  No bright colours on Malcolm's TMCR T-shirt as he operates the sound equipment on Stage 2.

Thorne's Got Talent competition gets underway, whilst the Pom Pom dancers take to the arena in front of Stage 2. The Thorne Male Voice Choir made an appearance on the Sunday on Stage 1.
